The gift band is made of plastic, so you can. can curl or split it or just tie a loop.

The Matline gift ribbon has small "grooves" in the surface and is printed with a matte color, where the color lies in a slightly thicker layer in the grooves - This makes the giftband more exclusive than regular polybands, and several of the colors look more like fabrics , than of plastic.
