The carrier bags are made of recycled plastic and this can be seen on the bag - both by the small print at the bottom in English and French - but also by the small white dots/stripes in the surface of the plastic.

The plastic is not only made of recycled material, it is also recyclable - which means that after use it can be sorted as soft plastic and turned into new plastic again.
